Chic Darling’s Beauty Holy Grail (Maybelline Vivid Rose)

I picked up a new bold lipstick last week and its BRIGHT PINK. Well, its from the New Maybelline Colour Sensation Vivids Collection in Vivid Rose.

While bright lipstick doesn’t normally have a place in my everyday life, this colour is amazing. It a bright pink that works with almost every skin tone, and is highly pigmented so its easy to build up to the colour that you want. It literary takes 5 seconds to go from work appropriate to an evening out. I have a feeling that this will be my go-to colour of the season, as I really don’t have to do anything else to look presentable.The best part for me is that my lips don’t feel dry after wearing this lipstick for a long period of time.

I know I’ve sang the praises of having a red lipstick in your arsenal before. Sometimes its the only thing that makes an outfit pop. My favorite look these days is a messy bun, my clearly Contacts Glasses, and this lipstick. I throw on a pair of jeans, a T-shirt, and a pair of heels and I’m out the door. It has the ability to smudge so I use a nude lipliner to make sure that I don’t look like a clown by the end of the day.
