Pureology Reviving Red (+Giveaway!)

Being blessed/cursed with really thick  curly hair means that I’m always on the hunt for the perfect shampoo and conditioner. As if that wasn’t a tall order, add colour retention to the list.

You see, I have grey hair. Lots of it, and it involves dying my hair every 3-4 weeks. I blame my mother.

This is where my love letter for Pureology begins. The entire line is pure gold, but the Reviving Red system is brilliant and perfect for Valentine’s Day! The line is perfect for those with red hair and consists of  Reviving Red Shampoo (Sulphate free), Conditioner, Illuminating Caring Oil and the Red, and Copper Reflect Enhancer.

The hydrating formula of the products contain Jaljala oil, plus the exclusive OleoAntiFade Complexâ„¢ for colour retention and radiance of red and copper colour-treated hair.

Yes, it’s created especially for red or copper colour-treated hair. When used weekly, the Reviving Red System helps keep your reds and coppers vibrant for up to 30 washes* above. The Reviving Red system, with an oil-infused ZeroSulfate® Shamp’Oil, contains protective Jaljala micro-oil with encapsulated lycopene extract and the exclusive Oleo AntiFade Complex to prevent colour fading.  Basically, it helps keep your hair that rich red way longer.

Just to prove that we’re not all talk, we’re giving away the full system to try it out!

How does it work?

  • Concentrated Shamp’Oil maintains vibrancy and replenishes hair while delivering 4X the active ingredients to drastically replenish the protective lipid layer and seal the cuticle.
  • Reflective Condition restores the fiber and multiplies light reflection for purer, vibrant shades.
  • Illuminating Caring Oil noticeably increases vibrancy and reveals the shine of vibrant shades and colour retention of red or copper colour.
  • Red Reflect Enhancer colour depositing treatment infuses hair with red tones, while Copper Reflect Enhancer colour depositing treatment infuses hair with copper tones, between salon visits. When used after Reviving Red Shamp’Oil, formulated with jaljala oil and the exclusive Oleo AntiFade Complexâ„¢, they provide optimum colour retention, shine and salon-fresh-looking colour vibrancy.

I’ve been a “bottle redhead” for the last 5 years and love it, but the downside is the quick fading.

I have never gone red but I LOVE love love red hair. I’ve had a thing for red heads as long as I can remember, Sally Jesse Rafael, Ariel from the Little Mermaid, any person with red hair really. Ugh, I’m so jealous of people with natural red hair. If it is also curly and huge and unruly, get out of town.
