5 Great Places to Eat in Atlanta

Oh, Atlanta. Home of the Braves, and the Falcons, and hot young men.

If you find yourself wandering around Atlanta and want to grab a bite to eat, here are the some local favorites.

Flying Biscuit Cafe

Multiple Locations in Atlanta
Any place with an all day breakfast is fine by me. Their biscuits are definitely something to write home about especially if you appreciate home cooked food.

Mary Mac’s Tea Room

Address: 224 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308-1938
Phone: (404) 876-1800
Website: www.marymacs.com

The moment you sit down you’ll be in heaven from their bread basket of cornbread, yeast rolls & cinnamon rolls. You literally could eat these all night long and be fully satisfied. That is unless the rest of their food wasn’t equally impressive. From their fried chicken to their chicken fried steaks and their mashed potatoes or mac & cheese, there is not a single person that won’t be able to find something they truly love here. You’ll need to pace yourself though as they also bring it home in the dessert category. The home-made pecan pie and peach cobbler are absolutely to die for.

Dez Persian Grill
Address: 3220 Cobb Pkwy SEAtlanta, GA 30339
Phone: (770) 541-2334
Website: www.dezpersiangrill.net/
If Persian food is more up your alley and you’re looking for a great family atmosphere, then Dez Persian Grill is where you want to go. The good is delicious enough to warrant a repeat trip the same week. They have some of  the best chicken Kabobs, and authentic persian rice. Each rice dish is served with the traditional grilled tomato.
Antico’s Pizza
Address: 1093 Hemphill Ave Atlanta, Georgia 30318
Phone: 404-724-2333
Website: www.anticopizza.it
Ask any pizza connoisseur in Atlanta where the best pizza place is and they will point you to Antico’s Pizza. It blows the competition out of the water. The best part after the brick oven pizza  is having the ability of bringing your own beer option.I mean, where else can you do that?
Muss and Turner
Address: 1675 Cumberland Parkway Southeast #309  Smyrna, GA 30080, United States
Phone: (770) 434-1114
Website: www.mussandturners.com/
Are you looking at eating more organic local foods? If so, then Muss and Turner is for you. The service is terrific, and the food such as egg salad sandwiches is  just as great. The prices are just a tad bit higher considering that most sandwiches don’t even come with sides, but the atmosphere and the the sandwiches do make up for it.  They have a Thanksgiving sandwich is amazing.
