We love fall. Who doesn’t love crunchy leaves and pumpkin spice and warm apple cider while the crisp fall air nips your nose? With fall comes Thanksgiving, Halloween, the pumpkin patch, comfy fall sweaters, scarves and, of course, boots.
Cognac boots are perfect for fall. The color is not quite summery and not quite wintery, and leather is great for walks in the park and regulating temperatures. They go with pretty much every trend, and look great with fall floral, as well. They aren’t just for fall, either. You can wear your cognac boots well into the winter and even in the early spring. The color makes them look less formal than a black leather boot, so they are great for an all around, all-purpose option.
The best part about cognac boots, hands down, is the fact that you can wear them for many seasons (you don’t have to retire them after one season like many suede boot options!) and the more scuffed up they get, the more authentic they look. Shabby chic is very in right now, and so is the worn in, scuffed comfortable look.
Here are some of our favorite cognac pieces this fall:

2) Frye Heath Tall Riding Boot
3) Carlos by Carlos Santana – Camino Mustang
4) Coconut Willee Western Boot
