Remember when wearing white after Labour Day was a serious no-no? Well, those days are long gone. Winter whites are officially in, and they are one of our favourite trends to rock this season.
The trick to wearing winter whites is choosing white pieces in thicker, heavier fabrics (think cosy knit sweaters and luxurious cashmere turtlenecks). To keep the look from being too stark, add some dark accents, like a black menswear-inspired coat, or a motorcycle jacket. Finally, finish off the look with some winter accessories –not only do they look cute, but they also keep you warm!
For this look, assemble your white palette with a chunky white turtleneck and a favourite pair of white skinny jeans. Add a vintage wool jacket as a topper and accessorized with a floppy hat, leather gloves and aviators with white leather accents. To finish off the look, throw on a pair of black booties from Le Chateau, which will quickly become your go-to, everyday shoes. The heel is just the perfect height, and they will literally go with everything in your closet. Plus, they’re super comfy, which comes in handy for a girl on the go.
