TIFF was a whirlwind of of activities to say the least. The first 4 days were a blur, and it took 3 days to recover. But we’ve been going through the pictures on our phones to relive all the best ones.
THE SUITE:
This was organized by Chloe Magazine, Kelly Claman Company, CANFAR, and Stylist Box. They had everything that would make a girl feel jealous-Andrew Majtenyi, Lucian Matis, Masha, Moose&Beaver, Wren, Hilary MacMillan, Kain Label, Kova & T, Love Zooey, Me to We Style, I’MONIQ Accessories, Kara Ross, and more. Like everything- including the Crookie, (a crossaint with a cookie inside) and Erin Heather (Toronto’s up and coming hair and makeup artist) doing touchups. We wandered, we lusted after the most stunning gowns, and had crookies.

TASTEMAKERS LOUNGE
This was organized by rock-it promotions, and manned by one of our favorite PR ladies, Christina. This eco-friendly suite was stocked with everything everything that you would need right now. Items ranging from Seventh Generation, the eco-friendly laundry detergent, to Pop Chips! They also had some great books from Penguin Canadian (982 by Jian Ghomeshi, The Silent Wife by A. S. A. Harrison, And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini and Bait by J. Kent Messum), Awake Chocolate bars (caffeinated chocolate bars- best invention ever), Cake hand cream, and a ton more all inside the Jessica Jensen Limited Edition TIFF VISA tote.

BASK-IT STYLE LOUNGE
We popped into this one with a friend, and loved everything that we saw. As the name suggests, it truly is a ‘Style Lounge’. The Lounge had everything ranging from Kiss and Broadway imPress nails, to Mary Kay products, and everything in between. Our favorite were the folks from FUCK CANCER. The lounge hosted at the Pinnacle International, which had the best view from the enclosed roof top pool. Celeb spotting included Lauren Lee Smith form CTV’s The Listener.
BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR PARTY at the THOMPSON PATIO HOSTED BY DISARONNO
This was a star studded event with media and celebrities mingling about. While we did attempt to sit outside on the patio for a bit, the cold got to us, and we quickly http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/other/ found our way to a heat lamp. The drink of the night was amaretto sour, and there was plenty of that going around. We spotted Kardinal Official and Jian Ghomeshi.

NIKKI BEACH POP UP at The SPOKE CLUB
This was the party for the TIFF crowd. While most of the stars mingled at the Soho house, media, and VIP’s were here getting their party on on the transformed rooftop of the Spoke Club. Nikki Beach is known for their bashes and this was no exception. Our friends for Rowenta Beauty were there to make sure that VIP’s looked their best.

GLITZ AND GLAMOUR BALL IN SUPPORT OF MOTION BALL
The 4th Annual event was hosted by Oxford Beach at Arcadian Court, and all the attendees were asked to wear red. The event was in support of the Special Olympics. The drinks flowed throughout the night which saw Andria Simone (Tedx Waterloo Alum) preforming for a packed house. Valerie, Tiffany and I people watched form the balcony.

VARIETY STUDIO co-presented by Moroccanoil and British Airways
This was by far our favorite TIFF event, and we did an entire post on it. We were lucky enough to spend an entire day at the Variety Studio pop-up at Holt Renfrew. The lounge was sponsored by Moroccanoil among others, who made sure that guests left with some awesome goodies.
We also got to chat with the lovely rep from British Airlines ( a co-presenter for the Studio) who ushered stars and VIP’s on their new Boeing Dreamliner 787. Obviously they couldn’t fit an entire plane in, but they did have the one of the seats from first class there for us to test out. The redesigned aircraft not only features updated cabins and an enhanced entertainment system, but British Airways’ Dreamliner 787 helps to reduce jet lag so passengers will be off to a fresh start to their European journey. Not going to lie, it made us really want to travel now!
