Here at Chic Darling, we are always trying new products. We want to be able to recommend to you the best products out there. That means that we’re at Sephora every other week, loading up on items that look interesting that we haven’t tried before.
We received some samples of these great products last week, and we wanted to tell you all about them:
Molton Brown
If you’ve never used Molton Brown products, we highly recommend it. We’ve recently tried Seamoss Stress-Relieving Hydrosoak, and Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod Eau Fraiche.
Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod Eau Fraiche
Good, fresh scents are hard to come by. We don’t want them to be overpowering, or too subtle. We want them to smell fresh, not stuffy. We want them to be long lasting.
Paradisiac Pink Pepperpod is the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and fun. It’s light enough to wear during the day and it’s not overpowering at all.
Seamoss Stress-Relieving Hydrosoak
This came at the perfect time. It’s been busy here for our editors at CD, and coupled with my day job which has picked up a lot, I have been feeling the stress.
Adding this to my bath helped me relax immensely. Almost like Epsom salts, this product has seaweed and horse chestnut extract which makes you feel pampered.
Perricone MD
Guys, this brand is amazing. I’m so glad I found it. It’s been added to my “must haves” in my makeup bag at any given time. My skin feels amazing after just a week of using this product line. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
No Concealer Concealer
I was a little worried at first because the concealer is a “one color fits all” type formula, and I’m very fair. When you pump it out of the bottle on to your fingers, it looks like a mid-tone http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/alcoholism/ concealer, which usually doesn’t work for my tone. But this stuff is a miracle. It blended with my skin immediately and provides perfect coverage, without being heavy.
In fact, I went to work after having used it for the first time and my colleagues commented on how “well rested” I looked.
Bonus: it has SPF 35.
Intensive Pore Treatment
The Perricone MD Intensive Pore Treatment is also an awesome product. I actually gush about this to my friends. Not only does it make pores appear smaller, it also acts as a nice, oil-free primer, which my makeup seems to love to be on top of (ha, ha).
My skin feels firmer when I use this product, and it definitely is worth the $75 price tag – the differences are immediately noticeable.
Illumin8 Eye Shadow Palette
Makeup can be a lot of fun to try and review. This eye shadow palette delivered!
It’s made by Anastasia Beverly Hills, and it’s meant to increase your skin hydration which minimizes wrinkles and lines. The color is rich – I have Palette #4 (Carnival), which features greens, creams, and golden tones.
You don’t have to use much – even just touching your brush to the color gives it a nice, full color on your eye lid.
BITE Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick
I love BITE. You can buy it at Sephora, and the stuff is SO hydrating, it almost feels like you have lip chap on – BUT, the color is amazing and it lasts for a long time (unlike lip chap).
I have a couple of different colors of this product and they definitely deliver on their promise to be “lush, long-lasting and moisture rich”.
Plus, they use organic fruit butters to make your lips moist.
It’s a win-win.
